Meet Sam

I've always been fascinated by people and their stories.
Looking back, it's probably no surprise I became a celebrant.
I'm a psychology graduate, the son of a preacher man, a former live music venue owner, and at various points in my life I've spruiked crowds on busy streets, made announcements over airport loudspeakers, served as Vice President of my local Toastmasters club, and even spent time dressed as Robin from Batman & Robin at Movie World.
They might sound like completely unrelated experiences, but they all taught me the same thing: people are endlessly interesting.
What I love most about this job is getting to know couples properly. Their stories, their personalities, and the little things that make them who they are.
My ceremony style is relaxed, personal and genuine. I don't use a reading device and I spend a huge amount of time preparing beforehand so I can deliver ceremonies naturally and stay fully present in the moment. It allows me to connect with you and your guests rather than reading from a screen.
I like ceremonies to feel more like a story being shared than a speech being read.
By the time your wedding day arrives, I want the ceremony to feel authentic, effortless and unmistakably yours.
